VEYRIER DU LAC
A pretty village over-looking the lake. Set on the slopes of Mont Veyrier the village is famous for the maximum amount of sunshine it recieves. The old-town market happens every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
ANNECY
Annecy has beautiful streets lined with colourful houses and flower filled balconies. There are plenty of local amenities: a bakery, supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants – food markets are every week and once a month there is a fantastic antiques market. Around the cathedral is dense and atmospheric, a maze of passages, arcades and townhouses divided by canals and the River Thiou.
TALLOIRES
Famously captured by Paul Cézanne in his painting ‘Le Lac d’Annecy ‘ which shows the view from the bay of Talloires across the lake, towards the Château de Ruphy on the far shore.
